The OCM program is designed to encourage high school students to participate in one of the many service opportunities that exist not only within Ozone, but throughout the local community. Service can be done in many ways: within the body as well as outside; both through actions and prayer. Ozone Ministries has partnered with several different organizations, including Yellowstone Academy and West University Little League, to give students a broad range of service opportunities such as assisting in coaching a youth sports team, providing after-school tutoring and/or being a mentor. We want to provide you with opportunities to serve your local community and serve alongside you.

West University Ozone is currently partnered with Yellowstone Academy. Yellowstone is a charter school located in Houston’s 5th ward. The school exists to provide kids with a better opportunity for education and success in life. Students involved with West U OCM serve as after school care volunteers and have the chance to help with homework and play with the kids once or twice a week.
The after-school program at Yellowstone exists to provide students a supervised and structured place to go after school. Many Yellowstone parents work long hours and are not able to be at home after the school day. The after-school program allows students the opportunity to work on homework during the first period of the program and to get out and play during the second period.
If you're interested in getting involved with Yellowstone Academy, meet us in the West U Methodist church parking lot every Wednesday at 3:30. We'll return at 5:30
